Regent of Sydney Reunion
Sometimes it’s not a great idea to go back to places you have worked before. Not the case last week when I had the chance to be part of The Regent Sydney reunion. It was lovely to meet some of those I worked with when I was Executive Housekeeper at the Regent of Sydney from 1989-1991.
The Hotel, now a Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts property, put on a good show. It was really wonderful to meet the then GM, Ted Wright at the gathering. He was the pioneer of 5 star Hotel luxury in Australia in the 80’s and an inspiring leader.
Very special to be part of this amazing group of hoteliers who trail-blazed 5 star standards in Australian hospitality.
